Primary Myelofibrosis
Clinical Features
Hepatosplenomegaly (due to extramedullary haemopoiesis)
Severe pain in BM bones (long bones, skull)
Management
Supportive treatment
Splenonectomy but eventually liver will be destroyed
Investigations
Bloods: FBC (pancytopaenia)
Others: BM aspirate (fibrosis in marrow, erythropoiegentic cells - L shift)
