Diagnosis
- Finger prick BSL
Management
- Oral sugar + long acting starch (eg toast)
- IV glucose (if NBM) + N saline flush
- Glucagon 1mg IM (repeat after 20min + oral carbs)
- Driving: No driving after a severe hypoglycaemic episode (ie. unable to self treat) at least 6 weeks and after being medically cleared
