- Polymyositis affects proximal muscles first
- Charcot Marie Tooth syndrome = motor + sensory nn degeneration. Initially distal mm weakness, feet first then hands
- Gullian Barre Syndrome = Autoimmune. Usually caused by viral/ bacteria infection 1-3w prior. mm weakness of feet and hands
- Wernecke's encephalopathy triad
- Ophthalmoplegia
- Ataxia
- Confusion
- Extrapyradmidal sfex: DYSCO IN THIS INN
- 4h: acute DYStOnia
- 4d: akINesia
- 4w: akanTHISia
- 4mo: tardive dyskINesia
- Gait apraxia = broad based step = most commonly Alzheimer's
Cranial haemorrhage
- Epi/extradual haemorrhage = lenticular lesion on CT = TBI = middle meningeal a rupture
- Subdural haemorrhage = cresenteric lesion on CT = TBI = bridging vv
- Subarachnoid haemorrhage = spider web lesion on CT = berry aneurysm rupture

Upper Limb:
Shoulder abduction: C5-6
Shoulder adduction: C6-8
Elbow flexion: C5-6
Wrist flexion: C6-7
Finger flexion: C7-8
Finger ab/adduction: C8-T1
Finger extension: C7-8
Wrist extension: C7-8
Elbow extension: C7-8
Lower Limb:
Hip Adduction: L2-4 (I'm not a whore)
Hip Abduction: L4-5, S1 (Let's have some fun)
Hip Flexion: L2-3
Knee Ext: L3-4
Ankle dorsiflexion: L4-L5
Toe extension: L5-S1
Hip extension: L5-S2 (I need to poo)
Knee flexion: L5-S1
Ankle plantarflexion: S1-S2
