Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL)
Definition
Accumulation of mature B cells (cf. proliferation in MM) that did not go through apoptosis, cell cycle arrest at G0/G1 phase
Epidemiology
Most common leukaemia
Clinical Features
Symptoms
Usually none, may be anaemic, infection prone, weight loss, sweats, anorexia
Signs
Enlarged, rubbery, non-tender nodes, hepatosplenomegaly

- Chemo
- Radiotherapy for lymph/splenomegaly
- Stem-cell transplant post chemo
Prognosis
- 1/3 never progress, 1/3 progress slowly, 1/3 progress actively
