Bloods:
NOTE: Thyroglobulin check every 6 mo after thyroidectomy. > 0 suggests relapse
Imaging:

NOTE: Thyroid to lymph node metastasis usually caused by papillary ca
NOTE: MEN IIa/b causes medullary thyroid carcinoma
NOTE: FNA can only diagnose papillary/ medullary. Cannot diagnose adenoma, follicular ca, hurthle cell, anaplastic.
Prognosis
Good for: young, female, papillary (worsening order from above table)

Bloods:
- TFT, thyroid AB
NOTE: Thyroglobulin check every 6 mo after thyroidectomy. > 0 suggests relapse
Imaging:
- US (measure size, solid/cyst, FNA)
- radioisotope thyroid scan (hot = 0% chance malignancy; cold = 5% chance malignancy)
- radioactive iodine uptake (inc = hyperthyroid)
- then the above listed Ix
Others:
- FNA (benign/ malignant)
